How to add employees

In Provisoft, you can add employees in two ways :

  1. Through the Recruitment Workflow.(Job> Application> Interview> Onboarding> Employee)
  2. Adding employee directly through HR > Employee. 

1. Through the Recruitment Workflow

Use this approach when hiring through the complete application pipeline:

Job > Application > Interview > Onboarding > Employee

Steps : 

  1. Post a job via the job module.
  2. Receive and Manage Applications.
  3. Scedule and Conduct Interview.
  4. Once selected, initiate the Onboarding process.
  5. Upon onboarding completion, the candidate is converted into an Employee automatically.

2. Adding Employee directly throuh HR > Employee.

Navigate to the HR > Employee. This is a Employee CRUD Page.

Click on the +Add Button. This will open a Add New Employee Form.

  1. Name : Enter the First Name, Last Name of the Employee.
  2. Email : Enter a Valid Email Address. This email is used by the employee to login to the provisoft system.
  3. Password : Set the Password for the employee. It can be changed by the employee later.
  4. Role : Assign a Role to the employee. Choose the employee job role from the dropdown menu.
  5. Award : Set the applicable employment Award.
  6. Stream : Define the employment Stream.
  7. Payrate : Specify the payrate associated with the role.
  8. Employment Type : Choose Whether the employee is Full-Time, Part-Time, Casual etc from the dropdown.
  9. Is Contracted Over 10 Hours? : Select Yes or No based on the contract.
  10. Key Personnel: Indicate whether the employee is considered key personnel.
  11. Address : Enter the employee's residential details: Unit No, Address 1, Address 2 , Suburb, State,Postal Code
  12. Branch: Choose the location/branch the employee will be based at. 
  13. Reporting to: Select the manager or team leader the employee will report to.

Once all mandatory fields are filled in, click the Save button in the bottom right corner. You can click Cancel if you want to discard the changes.
